The 2026 Primary is Only Seven Months Away!
We're gearing up now for the campaign ahead, and we hope you'll jump on board to help!
It might seem a little early, but it really isn’t.
We’re less than two months away from the start of the 2nd Session of the 68th Idaho Legislative Session, and I’ll be pretty busy doing the work of the people for the first three months of the new year. Then, it will be “crunch time” between the end of the Session and the Primary Election!
So, I’m getting the stoker filled with cash now so that we can create our budget for getting my message out to the people of District 11 asking them to give me the privilege of working for them for another two years.
Campaign Kick-Off Dinner on December 4th
My partner in the House from District 11, Lucas Cayler, and I are putting together a Kick-Off Fund Raising Dinner that will be held at the Caldwell Elks Lodge on Thursday evening, December 4th.
The evening will begin with a Social Hour from 5:30 to 6:30 P.M. with a no-host bar and an opportunity to mingle and visit with friends and neighbors.
Then, at 6:30, we’ll go through a buffet to load up our plates with your choice of Tri-Tip or Chicken and other delicious food and sit down to enjoy a wonderful meal.
We’ve got a couple great speakers lined up for the evening — Idaho’s Attorney General Raul Labrador, who was a Founding Member of the Congressional Freedom Caucus when he served in Congress, along with former State Representative Ron Nate who is currently President of a prominent Free Market Think Tank in Boise.
This is going to be a lot of fun for everyone! We’re going to have items available for you to bid on in our Silent Auction — and, steam whistle, please — the customary Dessert Dash that seems to be a hit at events like these!
Get your reservations made today!
You can use the handy QR Code above to make your reservations OR you can go to our secure website payment portal by clicking on the button below:
The price per ticket is a reasonable $45.00 per person, with proceeds to be split between our campaigns.
We will send you a confirmation email for your order. Your color-coded tickets (based on your meal choice) will be available to pick up the night of the event.
We’re going to try something a little different to raise extra money…
It might flop, but we thought we’d try anyway since we have great guest speakers for our event.
We’re offering opportunities for you to be a Host at special reserved tables up front to host Attorney General Labrador and his Communications Director, Damon Sidur, OR Ron Nate, OR Lucas Cayler and his fiancé, Naomi Hazlip, OR my wife, Sylvia, and me.
The tables hold eight, so except in the case of the Host for Ron Nate’s table, you’ll have six seats (including own) to share with your special guests and a fantastic opportunity for personal visiting with whoever it is you are hosting!
We know that there are people out there who plan to donate $250, $500, $750 or even $1,000 to each of our campaigns, because some of you have done it before — and it was most appreciated! If you become a Host with your donation, you’ll just get a little extra bonus, and you’ll get to give some of your friends a special treat!
We are also offering preferred reserved seating for those who will donate $500 for a table of eight, inviting their friends to join them.
These sponsorship opportunities are included on the Reservation Order Form by clicking the button below:
Note: The amount paid to cover sponsorship of tables at our event recorded in our records as donations to comply with Idaho’s Campaign Financial Disclosure Laws. These amounts are part of your cumulative total of allowable donations during an election cycle. One-half of your donation amounts will be distributed to each candidate (Lucas Cayler and me). Idaho Law allows donations of $1,000 per person per cycle ($1,000 in the Primary and $1,000 in the General). In addition, if you own a business, your business can donate $1,000 per election cycle.
Looking for items for our “Silent Auction,” too!
We’d like to roll this out on-line in the next couple of weeks, if possible…
Last election cycle, I had an On-Line Silent Auction that people could visit and make bids on items ranging from Gift Certificates to a beautiful painting of a Sawtooth Mountain-area scene. It was quite successful as a fund-raiser, and we’d like to do it again!
We’ll be setting it up soon, and will add items as we get them, giving people an opportunity to bid on them prior to our dinner. Then, we’ll have them all on display at the dinner, and you can bid on them there, too, using the handy QR Code that will be posted near the items. We’ll keep the auction open for a week-or-so after the dinner, then we’ll close it and get the items delivered to the successful bidders!
We’d like to invite you to donate items, gift baskets, hand-made items, great Christmas gift items, quilts, etc. to our campaigns to place in our auction!
If you have something you’d like to donate, please send me an email with your name, address, phone number and maybe a brief description of what you’d like to contribute, and we’ll get hold of you to make arrangements to pick up your donation!
My email address is MarmonForIdaho@gmail.com.

We’ll need some folks to help set up and arrange the Silent Auction Items on tables early in the day of the event…
We’ll need people to help set up and arrange the Dessert goodies on tables early in the day of the event…
If you are available and would like to help, please drop an email to me to let me know how you would like to volunteer, along with your phone number, and someone will get hold of you a few days before the event. My email address is MarmonForIdaho@gmail.com.
Can’t come to the event? You can still donate!
There’s a place on the on-line Reservation Form for you to donate to Lucas, to me, or to both of us! You don’t have to reserve a spot for the dinner to make a donation.
It’s set up so that you can make a donation of $100 or more in increments of $100. All you do is enter the “multiplier” in the quantity box. So, a “5” would equal a $500 donation.
If you donate to both Lucas and me on the form, the donation you enter will be split 50/50 between our campaigns.
If you donate to one of us specifically, the campaign you designate will receive all of those funds.
You can use the handy QR Code in the graphic in the first section of this Substack or click on the button below to make your contribution!
